Dan's New Setup
So the polk DBs are out, Dan is now employing Two 12" Diamond D6 subwoofers - they came out to $160 each after my discount.
We are tying to keep at least partial functionality of the trunk this time unlike the last setup which left no room for cargo. So we are building a sort of wind tunnel with two or three fans pushing air in and having it channel across to the other side to vent. We are also hoping to get some acrylic windows in there as well.
The last cute thing I insisted on was the red neon glow from under the floor that glows up on the face of the woofers.

not a bad looking setup, but looks like the false floor is hitting the subs?

yeah, It is NOT touching the subwoofers at all, there is sufficient space around it and we tested loud burps to make sure excursion wouldn't touch them either. There is about 1.5-2.5 inches of space in between them. Right now though the false floor is sitting on top of the amps NOW... i noticed that and am going to put spacer in between the two pieces of wood and then put plexiglass/glass over it and 3 4 inch wide CPU fans on one end to ventilate. Neon tube will pretty much light up everything.
These are still VERY basic photos. This isn't near finished. Dalton just likes posting up completely undone photos of my ghetto setups.
