Radio help
When i went to turn on my radio, it comes on with the ignition, but no sound comes out. when you move the wires in the back the speakers pop, and only one time i heard music for about 2 seconds. Other than that no sound at all, but the cd/radio is playing. Any advice?

what model radio, who wired it, what speakers, stock wiring or aftermarket?
I wired it according to the manual b/c the previous owner cut the harness. its Rockford Fosgate (not sure model) but an older one.. like a 2003 model or so. Rockford Fosgate Speakers, it has a basic harness comin from the back of the radio and its in a civic wit 4 speakers

Cut harnesses suck...especially when someone else hacked it up. I'd go through and test the wires, pop the speakers with a battery and all, make sure they're actually working. Sounds like it's an internal amp problem with the deck though.
