Default What system??

Ok i just got a 94 Integra. i had the system from my 97 T-Bird in my 00 Si, but it was sold with the Civic, so im goin from basics again. lookin for help from toby or someone knowledgeable. I had a full Alpine xcept Kicker kx1200.1 Amp b4. It went 9833 to Type R's in all four corners and 2 Type R 12" in the rear. lookin for a system that will pretty much be the same throughout, and the possibility of a custom box or whatnot in the rear hatch. I have a rear strut bar, so w/e i have will have to go either around it, or in front of it. I'd really like to get a monitor up front and mayb even a drop down in the rear and hook my ps2 or sumthin up to it thru the glovebox. Thanks in advance.

Well, if I were you and you like the Alpine system you had before, go with the same thing. Otherwise, your best bet is to actually visit a few shops and take a listen to the options yourself.

And I wouldn't put a drop down monitor in an integra, there just isn't enough room. If anything, an indash monitor up front and a couple headrest monitors would be the way to go.

if he hated working the eq on an alpine, his head will explode trying to use a pioneer, particularly the higher end ones.

as was already said, go to some shops and listen to what they have to offer. hell, come out to this month's meet on the 9th and check out what people bring.

yeah, i'll be making my first ahq-related appearance since... what, 2003? *sigh*

anyhoo, my shit's only about half-done, still don't have any dynamat in my trunk, and i think my subs need more power, but i'll be out getting my happy ass metered for free. so there should be no excuses from anyone whining about how they don't have their car ready or whatever.

i dont think theres really any point in metering my hunk of junk anymore, might just cause more cracks in my windshield... I'm going for the pure fact its probably the best thing to do all weekend... my life sucks and im going to go cry about it there. *makes note to wear mascara for added dramatization*

I like the Pioneer headunits a lot. I've liked pioneer premier components or Polk/Momo ones. They are nice once they are amped and tuned. Kicker Solobaric L5 or L7 running a little bit underpowered in a proper enclosure. I think this set up would put your last one to shame and be nicer in the Turbo Teggy. Then again you can always save you money to fix that bumper. : D
If you can't figure out the Pioneer headunits I'll show you the light.
