See that giant noise filter on the back? its there for a reason: The deck is very prone to engine hum. No the box doesnt help much.

That USB jack seems prety cool, too bad it has a max file access size of 512MB(sometimes 1gb if ur lucky)

That monochrome blue screen is cool too - I really like that it doesnt dim at night with your headlights so you get that true blue ricer interior glow all night. (it gets annoying)

The remote is quality. You can expect 4 to 5 months of full functionality. Then expect random buttons to stop working or for the plastic pop ups to stop popping up.

Speaking of the remote, the response time for a track seek is about 1.5 seconds.

The one good thing I can say I like about it is the on screen file navigation for DVDs/USB sticks. its a lot easier than sorting by number.

I'm wondering if thats sarcasm because usually they come with light dimmers with your headunit but I usually keep the cable clipped off because i dont like how much they usually dim, i think THATs annoying.

I probably wouldnt trust it too much, its going to crap out too soon for the amount of money put into it.

wait the extra week until the next paycheck comes in and spend the extra 50 bucks and get a sweet brand name one

well on 8 hour road trips that bright blue screen just seems a lot brighter to me. Most adults will not pay me unless I hook up the dimmer - even if I have to tap the headlight switch directly =/

Yeah makes sense, those early morning hours driving back from zephy is nuts. The panel isnt too bright to begin with but extremely clear, one of the main reasons i opted to crimp/tape it off (cant remember which, lol), it just wasnt worth connecting.
