Default Head unit suggestions?

Well my old headunit finally blew..Thing was like 6 years old.

Just wanted to see if any of you had any suggestions on good head units out there in the 150-300 dollar range.

I was looking at the Alpine CDA-9857 (And possibly the 9856 since its cheaper and dont see any real differences between the higher end model)...

One thing it needs, is iPod support since ill be hooking my new iPod to it.

I just ordered the 9856... Got it for 170 brand new too, not to shabby the alpine site lists it at 300. I don't really care for new technology that I prolly won't buy.

Its got the iPod ability and thats all I care for.

Thanks for the suggestions!
