yeah so i hooked this thing up to my 2 kicker comp vrs it sounds pretty good and all but... i had been playing it off and on in the day ,, and then at this one long stop light i turnedi t on reallly really loud ,, loud as i could get and my shit was hittin reallly hard for the subs i got,, and then my amp cut out,, i let it settle for like 1 min' and then it came back on i was like wtf,, shit got overheated????? I pulled over and felt the amp and it was just a little bit warm nothing like my friends amp that when it cuts out it's fuckin red hot,, i know my shit is hooked up right ,, is that a normal thing with amps at the peak??

1. gains arent supposed to be way up

2. wtf did you turn it UP at a stop light for?

3.The battery voltage in the car may have dropped to below what the amp could run at and tripped protect while waitng for the alt to recharge
