Two dual 4ohm subs will supply a 2ohm stereo load which almost any amp can handle if given adequate cooling.

But If They Wired The 2 Ohm Subs X 2 - In Parrell And Bridged The Amp That Is A 1 Ohm Load = Fired Amp !!!!!!!!

I havent seen a stereo kicker amp that wouldnt trip protect mode when hit with a 1ohm load. some are actually will trip protect when they are hot in 2ohm stereo.

but if yours didnt trip into protect its a pretty good guess its damaged of blown.
