getting final ideas of my system and went to sa on fletcher -
horrible displays, no product and the place looks like they are closing, nobody around (damn 2 pm on a sunday prime time) maybe 10 head units on display, and half did not even work. 3 subs and they all were low end, they had a room of used equip, but i dont want leftovers, thinking of changing from alpine to jl but who else sells jl and has items on display, anyone of you fellow installers have a jl hookup pm me, would like to give business local before going to the internet... i use to hold sa in a higher class then cc and bb but after today i dont think so, I will try the sa in clearwater, just found out a buddy of mine is now selling there. still anyone have a different source.

 

This time of year not all the 2006 HU's are out. Thats why the rooms look empty. All the HU's and amps work, did you ask someone for help? Keep in mind that store (on Fowler) is over 15 years old and will probably not be at that location in 2 years (Brandon or New Tampa). Because of today you think BB and CC with their Kicker and JVC and Panasonic stuff is better than SA? Did you happen to see the $12000 install being done on a showcar in the install bay?

 

i know most of the 2006 products are still not out - but what about 2005 models, how about the place being a dirty mess- ask for help?, how about customer service and sales people be on the floor to ask me if i need some help!, I think the presentation and avaiblity of products is better at cc and bb, nice to have a $12,000 show car but that does nothing for me. I was looking for products now.

 

Fowler store is in the ghetto, what do you expect?? Try DM and Columbus. Not sure how they are now, but when I worked there, we had just about everything we stocked on display and as much working as possible. The majority of the time, atleast when I worked there, the installers had to repair everything, put new equipment out, fill in blank spots when sales people sold display pieces, etc. Which is extremely difficult when you're supposed to be doing installs and there's only 1 or 2 installers...not to mention you're not getting paid for that.

 

Oh well. Im not gonna keep 2005 models on display when I dont have any to sell. If a customer wants to buy the floor model they can have it. Im sure the sales guys werent sitting there with there thumbs up their asses, I know we had quite a few customers and we were in and out to look at cars all day. If you like how CC and BB display their products better than us than buy from them. The day they carry JL, Boston, Focal, or any halfway decent brand is the day Ill eat my hat. You enjoy it though.

 

The fowler store IS the ghetto, nothing we can do about that though. We do outsell the DM store every single month though. Trust me, if they had a Brandon or New Tampa store Id be there in a heartbeat. I would NEVER work at CC or got-forbid a BB- $6/hour to sell JVC and Jensen, no thanks
