For a cheap speaker, IMO, the Pioneers sound pretty good. Don't get me wrong, you're not going to win competitions with them and they're not going to compare to something like a pair of Focals....but for the money, they're not bad.

Guess it just depends on what you're used to and what your expectations are concerning whether or not you will be disappointed.

for an average daily driver - go with alpine pioneers are for ricers.

well i have always liked Pioneer, so i would like to stick with them. Yes, i am only wanting something that is decent priced and decent sound. I am not trying to build something for competition here, just trying to get rid of the $500 LIGHTNING AUDIO that came with my car. hahahahahahah
