Alex is a Re-Re. Come to Sound Advice on Fowler, ask for Matt or Jay. We just did a 06 550i, a 06 CTSV and a 06 TSX. Ive got one of the best installers in Florida. The Dale Mabry store sends all their custom jobs to us...

Side note- if you do modify your N2 to play video while driving you can kiss your warranty goodbye.

That's actually in my disclaimer, as well. I'm sure this is Pioneer's stated policy. Not sure I'd hold it as gospel, though. I think there would still be hope for getting it fixed under warranty, at least the first time. I've seen some heavily modified stuff get fixed under warranty. Some of it was mine, back before I had a shop

On the DVD, I'd have to agree. I can't see why I'd want to watch a dVd on a 7" screen, in the front seat of my car at all, much less while driving.

There is some navigation functionality to be gained, however. And these can be performed by a passenger, and would make sense to do while driving.

Its kind of unfortunate what's happened with these things over the years, but understandable at the same time. Hands free phones are required in many places, and I wouldn't be that surprised to see head units that won't even let you change stations or CD's with the vehicle moving come out in the future.

I was next to a lady the other day, who had her little baby in a carrier next to her in the front seat (it was a truck, so there was no back seat). She kept looking over and down at the baby, and attending to it with her 'free' hand. Seems more distracting than a cell phone to me.

Blame it all on the equipment, and never the driver.

Toby

Since when? I worked over there for 2 years and can't say I recall anyone in the mobile department sending a custom job over there. Now, you guys sending us cars you didn't want to work on is a different story....

Karial would send lots of jobs over to us, maybe he didnt want you guys to know. We also fixed quite a few "screw ups" like that $20K Tundra job.

Yeah, Karial is the only one to make an issue of anything, however, he would also be the first in line for us to do his client's favors, aka free shit. Don't worry, everyone over there is well aware of how Karial works. Like I said though, I don't recall anyone in the mobile department sending business away. And you mean the Tundra almost 2 years ago by James who no longer even works in Tampa?
