ok people i cant figure out where the noise is coming from i tried regrounding everything amps cap, even took my car to auto audio and had them rewire the headunit and eq with no luck they said i had noise before and after the eq was hooked up so its not the eq its not the amps so the only thing left is the headunit he did say i had alternator whine from the headunit before the eq when the eq was hooked up of course it got louder. Point is if anyone is willing to come over and fix it i have a kodak digital camera easyshare cx6200 and a siemens m56 cell phone unlocked with box manual and charger both work perfectly you can have them both lemme know who wants to do it. its in a 95 honda civic oh btw this all started when i hooked up 2 strobe lights to the remote wire on the deck but only problem was i hooked the strobe lights wrong and burned them up. so maybe this has something to do with it.

 

What kinsa EZ you got...how many bands?? b.c i know i have 2 31 band mono EQ's in my car and all u do it turn the imput and output down and it goes away...i still have a slight one but my stuff isn't fully tuned yet...if you dont have an input and output knob to adjust...try regrounding the battery my friend has a BAD whine in his and just happened to have to change out the batter and when he regrounded it it went away completely...and let me tell u it was so loud you couldn't hear people on your phone over it

where are you located? The best way to solve the problem is to isolate the symptoms. Of course, you may just have cheap equipment. what are the model numbers of your amps/headunit?
Heres the steps in logical order:

Re-examin amplifier ground points. They should be less than 1ft long and connected to a frame part NOT sheet metal - the actual frame. unsure the connection is properly crimmped and that the bolt and ground surface are 100% paint free. Sand to shiny metal if it looks rusty. Spray with anti-corrosive such as rustolium.

Remove any ground loop isolators you have on the RCA lines - they often can add noise rather than eliminate it.

Start with the 4channel. Disconnect the subwoofer amplifier from all power/signal points. If you remove the noise then you have a ground loop between the amplifiers. if it persists then continue.

Disconnect the front RCAs then the rears one set at a time to pinpoint the noise. Does it stop with one set removed? RCAs are defective. You should have any RCAs connected to the "line out" removed.

Once you have eliminated the amps as a source, you will probably want to isolate the headunit power.

tap the amp power kit for the positive power to the HU. As easy way it to run a paperclip through the kit wire and solder a 14ga wire to the paper clip and then bind it really really well.

Then isolate the ignition power with a relay.

Disconnect the antenna lead to remove a ground loop from that source.

Unplug the amp RCAS and reconnect them one at a time. at the headunit side.


I can keep going but thats enough stuff to keep you busy for a few hours.

 

Well, being you're saying it only started when you tried ghetto-rigging some strobe lights into your deck's remote lead, I'm willing to bet your problem lies there within. First I'd disconnect the strobes, obviously...if you haven't already. Second, I'd swap the deck out, there's a very good chance you overheated, fried, or who knows what something inside your deck. Third, I'd get rid of the eq...most decks and amps nowadays are sophisticated enough to filter and equalize frequencies on their own...atleast enough for the everyday listener. Not to mention the majority of eq's I've seen induce noise. Get a decent deck...one that has the proper number of preouts and a high preamp voltage (4v is good).

 

i found the problem its the headunit got another one and clear and clean as can be i did fry the other one
