stereo subs or mono ?
this might be a bumb question ?...but .is it best to have 2 subs in stereo ,of 2 runing in mono mode?

I always try to run them mono..
doesnt matter - base your decision on the amps output power in stereo & mono
well some songs have different bass running through left and right.... so like with rock music some times stereo is better then mono for sound quality so you hear the full bass of the song. so it really depends on your music and you amp.

Second, I dont know of any song that has varying output under 180hz.
