there is no competition here. Eclipse will be louder and cleaner in any class. But I would still grab infinity for the best bang for the buck any day.

 

the clean sound of the sub will also depend on type of box and how you build it so make sure you pick a good design for the sub you pick... with the eclipse maybe go with a sealed box would be punchy and clean but would need decent power or itll be a little sloppy

 

kirk, any way i could hear it??? track day or a meet or somthing maybe??? are theythe 10's? and what amp(s) are you running them with???

 

Well im doing a SQ comp car right now and im doin total mobile audio 12"s ..... but my buddy also has 4 12"s in his jeep and they are loud as a mo fo... jsut my 2 cents on total audio.... but outta the 2 u said eclipse... o if u want some good bass i have 1 12" alpine type X for sale PM me for details i even have a 1200 watt amp to run it

 

I get a big discount on the mentioned brands, so i will not be buying anything used or any other brands... infinity, polk, eclipse, kicker, mtx, bazooka, sony, pioneer, jvc, jensen, panasonic is what ill be sticking to..
