im not going to say infinity is the best in the world. but if you would like to come into circuit city on gunn i will be more then happy to suprise you with the sound quality and how loud it gets. it sounds 10 times better then the l5 10 sitting next to it which cost about 200 bucks, it sounds 100000 times better tehn the sony which cost 110 each.

It doesn't say anything, 2 of the better subs I've ever owned were 2 Polk EX 10's wich were buy one get one free.

If you're still looking, I have a couple inexpensive systems.
First is just for bass...2 12" subs, 400w amp, enclosure, and wiring kit for $315. Its good stuff...Distinct Audio (made by Crossfire). I had a complete distinct system in a 94 Caprice wagon I sold, and we've put a couple in customers cars, with nothing but complements.
Second is the above system, with an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, a second 400 watt amp, and 4 coax speakers for mids and highs. $1100 installed. Again, Distinct and Crossfire.
