Ok so mabee deadin isnt the correct spelling but people slip up every once in a while. Lets also not question my skill as MY car is not the autozone special lookin neon lights, and pre fab crap ok. Stop dissing me and my work and grow freakin up! I have been nice up until now and im getting tired of it. TR is a place to come and talk about anything car related and be friendly. Its all about trial and error and a few trips to a hardware store. After all how do ya think people found the alternatives?

Oh i know what rattles can do and yes i have had my share of rattles. My current install does a legal 148.9 on the new termlab. 138 with only a 26hz test tone. I can flex my windsheild almost an inch... Rattles are cool but they do get anoying if theres too much. Like when you hear more rattles than bass. You can never 100% completly get rid of rattles. but you sure can try.

i think you have rattle and door flex confused.rattle is what most the people on the websites 2 12s n the back of their honda hatch do.door flex,is when you have 2 poweramper Xpower2 18,or 4 volfenhaug 12s(yes i said volfenhaug,a really good sub in a ported box)of an old school earthquake d2 shredder.that is what causes ur doors to flex a couple inches not rattle.

He was just trying to play around, jeez, taking things a lil too much to heart. Its just a flippin msg. Dalton is far from a snot nose punk. lol

Anyways, Yea there are altenatives. I prefer the good stuff that you have to heat up to form fit. Weight from dynamat will help prevent vibration and door rattles. Trunk rattle is another beast altogether.

Who ever said rattles are cool should be shot in the foot. Rattles don't prove anything accept how to NOT do it. a nice sounding car has little if any rattle.
