cant find it for 299 on walmarts website, do you have a link? Also most walmarts sold out less than 12hrs after of hitting the floor, so their price probably has not been updated as they have no product to sell.

I honestly thing that price is outdated or is meant for after the holidays.

 

i think no one should buy it any ways ps3 gunna take the cake on this one... xbox will have to come out with another system after ps3 like an xbox 360 extreame or something that is faster or better.. unless... since the 360 is comign out sooner everyone will buy it and the ps3 release wont be as big ... yet the ps2 was sold out right when it hit the floors too so who knows

 

Man this is the most action AHQ has seen in months! I dunno about the PS3, I am still satisfied with the PS2's performance & graphics. But the PS3 no loading pages promise really has me interested. Microsoft already has a monopoly on the PC market, I'll never buy a console from the company.

 

same... and the no loadin is possible in ps2.. its all in how the games are made... there will be one load whitch will be hte initial load.. nd itll load up as an intro video plays.. its like active load like tony hawks american wasteland an active load will load as you play in the background but youll have to be in an area where the graphics arnt too intense ... ps3 might also be using a higher speed optical drive or something too but yeah it is possible now wiht xbox and ps2 just has to be done right

Yeah the PS3 is supposed to have more than twice as much memory, and two totally redesigned graphics & processing chips. I just hope they dont put some copys protection crap in there that wil fuck up ever 2 days.

lol well yeah the ps3 will have the copy protection shit liek for games but theres always gunna be a way around it unless they develop there own type of medium like DVD2 or something gay like that that normal dvd roms or cd roms couldnt read

 

because all the systems on the website are listed as bundles, the core system BY ITSELF was 299

on the website the core bundle comes with an extra controller and a 60 dollar copy of madden 06.
