no one can teach you, its so straight forward the only thing that will help you learn is to do it... grab a few buddies and start fiberglassing shit. Im, sure your friends wont mind shiny new fiberglass sub boxes in their rides.

1.coat, lay mat, coat, punch bubbles while drying. Repeat 4 or 5 times.
2. Sand, add putty, sand, paint...

you can use aluminum foil, celefane, scotch tape. fiberglass typically dosent stick to plastic. ive seen some people just cover a plastic panel with a releasing agent(wax, crisco, that sorta thing) and it didnt dammage the panel. i would not do it that way tho. use a router and mdf to make ring baffels. once you got the shape layed out for the bakside, bottem layed out you can stretch fleese over the face of it and use stapler to stapel it around the bottem, back and sides(if aplicable) and also around the inside of the mdf speaker ring. build it up with several layers of glass for strength. DO NOT USE PLASTIC FILLER MORE THAN 1/8 INCH DEEP. especially on a subwoffer box that is under vibration. if you need further shaping or need to build up a low spot deeper than 1/8th inch use short strand fiberglass filler and sand as nessesary. now lay the plastic filler(bondo, putty or whatever else you guys call it) sand it with 80 grit(verry lightly) then with 180 to romove the 80 grit sandscratches and keep workin ur way up depending if you wanna paint it or cover it. thee are some good diy's on kick panels you should look up it will give you a good concept on how to build shit. for the most part its fairly simple just verry time consuming.

put down double sided tape on the surface you are molding, then put down a painters drop(large plastic sheets) which will cover everything around the work area to garentee a clean job. The double sided tape will hold the plastic to your mold area with ease. Home depot or lowes has the drops for < $3

that is the easiest way when you have to work in the vehicle for a mold.

or just blue painters tape, 2 layers and then spray pam or put some car wax on the tape, it'll pop off no harm.
