Capacitors will only juice up what you already have. so make sure to upgrade the battery and big 3 first then hit up the capacitors. one 1f capacitor will generally shalow out a 1v spike from a line. that means if your bass note pulls the voltage to 10, it should be up to 11 with the cap. of course, the higher the draw, wire size, length, wattage, and other factors will affect your performance. The cheaper the amp the more performance gain a cap will give you(they lack their own internal capacitance).

Either get a yelow top(deep cycle) or a Blue top(Marine - Very Deep Cycle) Battery. High draw systems need yelow tops cuz the blue top wont offer you the current during surges.

First and foremost,
DONT BUY ANYTHING WITOUT CONSULTING TR AHQ - YOUR #1 STOP FOR AUDIO DREAMS.

*EDIT* Those fosgates chriscar has are hot, I was gonna take both of them off of him but my wife got wind of it(I left the message in my inbox and she read it)

STOP!!! Don't buy that shit....Buy mine.

The "Sound System" consists of components from Kicker, Audiopipe, and Tsunami. There are (2) 12" L7's ('04 model's). Powering these massive subs is A Mono-Channel Kicker SX1250.1 DSP Amplifier. I went along with a 1.2 Farad Capicitor just to be safe. The wiring and fuse's are by Audiopipe. All of the components were bought in Mid-July BRAND NEW and just installed in mid-August! State of the Art Customs did the install and also built the huge vented Bandpass enclosure that house everything. It is top of the line and cost me well over $3000 in the end. I'm also in the process of selling my car, so this is a part out.

PM me if your interested.

Everyone here is right, you should do some research before you buy, but since i have been doin this for a couple years now, some of these guys are close and maybe even right. There is a problem when it comes to the square subs, bigger box is not always better, the way there designed is to run usually 1.5 cf to 7.0 cf, so if you got sold a HUMONGOUS box im sorry, and the thought of one 12 hitting harder than two 15s is kinda out in left field, maybe if the 15s dont have enough power, yeah but i highly dought that. Dude i work in that industry and i know about getting the money out of people but i have done a lot of research and if you want to be loud get the 15s, hook it up right and boom-on.

two crossfire 15s on a Hifonics with 3200w and a 1farad cap, loud but not loud enough

hey, i have 2 amps for sale. (1) XTANT 1001 (mono for SUBS)
(1) XTANT 604 (2/4/6 channels for MIDS+HIGHS)

i also have orion HCCA component speakers and ONE 12inch ORION H2 sub if you'd like.

these amps are the TRUE Xtant amps made by the real XTANT pples before they sold the company; the NEW company is now own by MTX and what you get with the NEW XTANT is the same you would get with an MTX amp. i got them NEW from sound advice when they carried XTANT, and cost me $1100 EACH amp. and i can tell you that they are worth EVERY PENNY.....

i will let them go for $350 OBO EACH....

dude the l7 12's have about 20-30% more surface area then a regular 12, which makes them sound damn close to a 15... therefore a 15 must be damn near an 18.. wtf would you want an 18 inch sub for? do you know how shitty that would sound
