well i have never hooked up a stereo before..

I aquired a system from a friend who owed me money he gave me his system instead now he lives out of state...


anywho...


i have 2 12s TREO enginerring subs in a box/ built on box amp and a digital volt meter built into the box as well... the amp is suppost to push 500 watts and 1200 rms


the subs are suppost to be 500 or so.

anyway i am hooking it up tomorrow and i need to know what wiring to get and everything.

what all should i buy to hook this up right?

Default Wires

You need a power wire(A small gauge like a 8 or 6) to run from the power slot on the amp to the battery.

You need about the same size wire to run from the ground in the amp to a good ground bolt in the back ie. a strut mount.

A smaller gauge prol 12 as a remot wire to tell the amp when to turn on, run it to a fuse that only workls when the car was on.

And RCA cables hope that helps

go to walmart and buy the sosche amp wireing kit. its cheap its got everything you need and has decient instructions and diagrams.
