Default JL Audio Amp (Help)

I have a 300/4 JL audio amp running my inside speakers. The other day it started to get distorted. So I looked at the amp and the low ohm light is on when the amp gets power. So I read somewhere that it means there is a short in one of the speaker wires.

So I took out one wire at a time from the amp to see if I could pinpoint which wire it was. But after checking them all, the light came on everytime.

I took all the speaker wires out at one time and the light was still on. I also made sure the ground wire was in correctly.

Does anyone know if this Low Ohm light could mean something else.

It could mean your amp is fucked up. Take it back if it's still under warranty.

Check your ground. My 500/5 did the same thing when the ground came loose

I took the ground out and reinstalled it at the amp and no luck. The other end of the ground is on the battery and still on there securely.

Have you tried grounding it to metal on your car. I have mine grounded to my spare tire well. The only other thing to check is if the impedance of the speakers is out of range of the amp, but if you've been running them for awhile that shouldn't be the problem.
