either integralsgreen was right about simple grounding the green wire off the back of the screen, OR if its a new screen you will need a bypass box. ebay has some cheap ones to get the job done.so uhh, when do i get some TR skank lovin?
grab your owners manual and see what it has listed in the install section. if it is just the e-brake then it will show 1 wire, it may be in the main harness for the unit or it may be in a small sub harness. the wire for your car will be near the e-brake. If you can post up the right model number ( since you said you weren't sure if it was right) I may be able to tell you which way it is. if you do need a bypass I highly recommend the pac tr-7, the ebay listing may not mention all available models. I have an alpine iva-d310 and the guy on ebay said it wouldn't work ( but he had a more expensive one that would) I went to the pac website and contacted them, they said it would, and it did. I did the entire hookup myself and it works flawlessly.
I dont have a owner manual,i picked it up from my friend,he replaced it with a motorized screen...that model number is the right one,i googled it
...Still couldnt find a wiring diagram or anything though
...All help is appreciated thanks again!

looks like the light green wire just needs to tap onto the e-brake, which means ground. just connect to ground and you should be fine.

on the main wiring harness that has the power, ground, speaker wires, power antenna wire. etc. there should be a light green wire. the light green wire should be connected to the e-brake or ground if you want to bypass it. when you go to the link I posted click on "Installation/Connection Instructions" under where it says manuals. it'll open a pdf that you can save or print for a hard copy.
The instructions don't say what the cord assembly is, so I am only guessing that it may be the main harness, your audio/video inputs are rca connections, like $4 at walmart. the screen locked is from it not getting the right signal from the e-brake wire( light green).
