the car worked fine, it was the brain that fried. They were dealers for the viper alarm products and still couldn't hook it up properly, with the instructions sitting in my car seat the whole time. I will never go there again.

I understand the pay deal, it just sucks that very few people have a good enough work ethic to do things the right way.

now I do all my own installs, as well as all the installs for my family. Friends don't let friends...go to alarm shops."

no comment....
just kidding as far shops go in the area.. and ive worked at most in the pinellas area they're all hacks and are just in it for the money... i have gotten fired for soldering all my connections (imagine that )... the only person i would work for (again) in car audio or have anything done for that matter is brad wagner formerly of N2audio now stereo werkz i can get you the number to the shop... and your right 300 to install an alarm you have already paid for is rediculous but they want to make the same money as if you bought the alarm too.... i have been installing for 10 yrs owned my own shop for 6 yrs till I moved here... and personally unless you are fairly sure that you won't fry anything i would pay the money so you have someone else to blame... all shops must have insurance and warranties but will not respect a warranty on an item they didn't sell... just my .02
