Default Final Verdict!

Ok, sorry for making a new thread, first of all. But I need some crazy help, so if someone can help me out, I'm going to list what I am going to get, than you rate it and tell me your opinion.

First thing-Kicker S10L7. Im just getting one, but I am buying two because my friend wants to go in on one with me.Link to 2-S10L7s

Next is the amp KickerLink to amp-Kicker KX600.1 AND IT IS REFURBISHED, but i figure it is like factory new. Also, would that amp be sufficient because it says "600w x 1 @ 2 ohms RMS 1200Wx 1 Peak " and my sub is 4 ohms, so would this be able to hit its peak at 1200 wts?

Next is wiring-Link to wiring kit

let me know what you think of al lthe listed above, also if it will all be compatable together(as in the sub/amp peak wise)

also I want to run a seperate battery to subs just to not kill my own, so what all would be involved in doing so, thanks!

Yes, thats the best choice amp for that sub if your going with all Kicker. The amp will see a 2 ohm load which is what ie needs.

Youll need a couple fuseholders and a battery isolator or high current relay (200 amp), in addition to the power wire, to run the 2nd battery. You could do it without the isolator but I wouldnt really recommend it.

Not sure on your wiring kit since I didnt see a brand name.

First off, forget "peak" or "max" power ratings on any amp...it's an irrelevant number. Assuming the sub is dual voice coil 4 ohms, you'll be able to wire everything up at 2ohms to achieve the 600w rms rating. And personally, I wouldn't waste my time on a second battery with only 600w, it's just not needed. If anything, simply upgrade your primary battery to an Optima red top.

Wires are not that important if they are the correct size really. I've run mostly all wal-mart wiring kits with no problems what so ever.
