I'm looking to get a new headunit and wanted a Dvd player. Most i have seen are $1,000+. I saw a Jenson unit at Circuit City for $699 and one that had a Tv tuner for $829. I know Jenson isnt a great brand but wanted to know opinions since i dont know much about steroes. It is half the price but i'm afraid you get what you pay for and i dont usually buy cheap stuff.

 

My friend got a Pioneer 6600DVD from sounddomain (authorized) for under 900 shipped. Save your money, dont buy the Jensen, I install em everyday at CC and theyre...umm...not that great

Yeah, he's right. They are a good unit for the price, just they have some problems, and I would just save the extra money and buy a Pioneer. If you decide to buy a Pioneer, let me know I may be able to get you a better deal on one from the Lakeland Circuit City, my old manager needs some business.

What kind of price and what model?I'm also going to have 2 amps installed and i need 4 6 1/2's and also two 8 inch subs . I was at CC and i was told Polks were by one pair get the second 1/2 off. I was in the clearwater store talking to a salseman who didnt even want to help me and the place was dead. After i found out all of this info i was considering having them do the work and he just walked away and never came back so i left. I thought they worked on comission. Let me know if i can get a deal and i will make the drive.
