the monster cable 201's make a difference the XLN PRO's dont make that big of a difference for the price, unless your running qsd216. (and right now there rockford speakers, so mb quart sucks now.) sorry i started to rant

Agreed. I sell low voltage products for a living. Cable is cable. RCA's are RCA's.. When you buy Monster cable, you buy the name, and that's it. I can show you 10 equivalents that actually outperform (on paper) the Monster cable product's electrical characteristics. Are there shitty products out there? Yes.. but there is good marketing out there and those that buy into the expensive shit are just buying into the marketing game.

second the monstercables i was talking about only cost $40 retail for a 2 channel and $60 for a 4 channel and you can hear the difference. i used to sell at sound advice, i dont anymore so its not like im pushing one product like a salesman would. I just belive its one of the best cables out there.

I use to think rca's were rca's and speaker wire was speaker wire until I actually compared premium cables to budget cables....there's definetly an audible difference to the trained ear. 60% of the consumers out there can't tell the difference between some Pyle subs and some IDMax's though anyways. Power wire on the other hand depends nothing more than on strand count for conductivity and oxygen free insulation for durability. I personally would never shell out the extra money for top of the line wiring though because it's just not worth it to me unless I was competing.
