audio problems
i have 2 10 in. kickers in a ported box. im havin a problem with the thumb of them i have a 600 watt amp bridged for both tens. i have a hatch back and was wonderin if i should change boxes or get more power to them.. then i have a rhythmic thump. i was wonderin if i could be the amp causin that or if the amp is just under powered.. i have a sony explod deck
the wire is 8 gauge i belive and im not sure bout the ohms i would have to get back to on that i have had it in my car for bout a month. i didnt install it my friend did and the amp was his he gave it to me
do you mean THUMP?
Does it do it if the stereo is OFF? like physically turn off the head unit, and see if it still does it. Try a different preout. Unplug the rca on the amp and see if it still does it.

If it does do it with the stereo off, either try moving the preout like Jesse said, or try a different wire for your remote. I actually witnessed an install with a Visonik amp, high low converted, where with the radio on it worked fine but if you turned the radio off there would be a constant THUMP, like 40hz or so
