...who think they know everything about car audio but really dont. They swear apon their sony subs and boss amp. They think their bandpass sounds clean or the DB knob on their amp really means the more you crank it, the more power you get! (yeah dirty distored power!!) Or MAX means how much the amp really pushes

Which is why I dont generally talk about audio unless im around people I know that understand it.

When I talk to someone who thinks they know aduio, i normally just test the waters by asking them what the preout voltage is on their hea dunit, or something like that. Something that most people wont really know wtf is going on, like frequency response for mids and crossover slope.

 

so all that stuff is false? is that what you are saying? if so, then man you really don't know what you are talking about

 

You get used to it at CC. I think talking to people there actually makes me dumber.
