im trying to find a good amp that is about 1500rms @ 1 ohm mono w/o spending a fortune.. suggestions?

 

how much is a fortune. is a fortune $2000 or $200

 

Directed and JBL are probably going to be less of fortune and still good than a lot of others.


But lanzar makes a pretty nice 2000 watt amp too, it only draws 60 amps of current. Its magic.

 

are u talking about the new lanzar opti? if so i have heard those and i was to impressed.
what i have is MA audioand in price they are around mid level price. good quality, not to the level of zappco or even jl, but it gets me byand sounds good.

 

are pushing a single sub with this amp? or a pair bridged?

 

Deepends what u want... Alot people have A Hifonics 1500BX amp its 1500 watts and on ebay try indo audio ebay store its only about 250. I have the 1000watt one and i like it. I got it from there

 

a few of my friends have the hifonics 1500 watt amp, i like that amp also it seems to be the best one for the price

Rickity, I was joking. Lanzar is crap. And even if they make something that sounds decent for the moment, how long will that last.

 

I got a hifonicss 1000D and I like it. Its powering two CVR's nicely. www.ikesound.com located in FL and will arrive to your house in 2 days with 5 day ground. I prefer them. Theres is also a Viper 1200.1 factory refurb for $199 hard to beat.

 

about as long as, well i really can't say i mean the realibility is great 1-2 days top at pushing its limits.

one thing is for certen in car audio. u get what u pay for. if u spend 100 dollars on a 2000 watt amp ur going to get $100 2000 watt amp that will only put out if ur lucky 200 watt. save money and by nice stuff
