Aight everyone im trying to build a system for a 2000 mazda protege...right now i have 2 10" solobarics that are about 5 years old ill proll sell....but ima list the things below and please make suggestions for each..but first below theres links to a few encolsed subs please tell me if u think any are worth it...

all i got is two like 5 year old 10 "solo barics that still work good in a g logic sealed box ...and i dont wana spend no more then 1500 but if i have to i might....

1500 is a healthy chunk of change for a system.

Yeah the zeb has some good prices and free shipping. Thats where I bought my CDTs and my amps.

First I'd go with some components up front. Heres a decent cheap set:

And I like rear fill so I'd go with some decent speakers in the back depending what size you have.

I like to run everything off amps so look into what you can afford. Same for HUs, but I like Pioneer, eclipse, kenwood, and alpine for head units.


Just some stuff to think about.

thanks ya i have to measure it...what does that come with it doesnt really say much in the desrciption like size and stuff...

It comes with 2 6.5" speakers, 2 tweeters, and 2 crossovers.

As for the size of your stock speakers just go to crutchfield.com and enter your vehicle info in and it will tell you the sizes.


Everything else really depends on what you want to spend and what you want out of your system.
