Default Opinions on Infinity

Now let me inform you I do get accomidation, so I'm getting these pretty cheap. So Im just curious if you guys think that this would be a nice loud clean sound in my Audi. Mind you I already have Alpine Type R components front and rear, dont ask why I have components in the rear, I know they dont really make to much of a difference. But I got em cheap.

I also have the Infinity 7540A pushing the Alpine's. I plan on getting 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 12's. Give me some input. Below I listed the specs of the amp's and subs.

Infinity 7540A:
Specifications
CEA Rated: Yes
Power Output: 111 watts RMS x 4 channel at 4 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + N 278 watts RMS x 2 channel at 4 ohms, 14.4V supply and ≤ 1% THD + N
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 81dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 ohms)
Dynamic Power: 164 watts at 2 ohms
Effective Damping Factor: 6.315 at 4 ohms
Frequency Response (-3dB): 10Hz to 100kHz (-3dB)
Maximum Input Signal: 5.5V
Maximum Sensitivity: 230mV
Output Regulation: .088 dB at 4 ohms
MSRP U.S. $: $374.95

Infinity 1210A:
Specifications
CEA Rated: Yes
Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 72 dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 ohms)
Dynamic Power: 1516 watts at 2 ohms
Effective Damping Factor: 6.357 at 4 ohms
Frequency Response (–3dB): 17Hz to 302Hz (-3dB)
Maximum Input Signal: 5.7V
Maximum Sensitivity: 260mV
Output Regulation: .132 dB at 4 ohms
MSRP U.S. $: $574.95

Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1
Specifications
MSRP U.S. $: 349.95
Power Handling, Peak: 1400W
Power Handling, RMS: 350W
Sensitivity: 96dB (In car)
Frequency Response (± 1.5dB): 18Hz - 150 Hz
Frequency Response (±3dB): 18Hz - 150Hz
Impedance: 4 Ohms
Mounting Depth: 6-1/2"

I would be getting the 1210A and the 2 12's for around $400 shipped.

Thanks,
Nate

Yeah, I would like to go with the Type R's but CC is not going to carry Alpine any more, so I can't get them. It's so upsetting, the one good thing left at Circuit and we are losing them.

Im not very happy about that.

I had plans of doing a custom box, and enclosing the 5.25's on my rear deck so they dont sound like shit, im going to have the infinitys flush mounted firing up, with a custom amp rack.

Yeah, they are picking up Kicker I just found that out today. I looked at our Activities calender.

And much to my dismay,

"All Circuit City Stores to carry Kicker Car Audio Products, Nationwide."

We don't get kicker stuff until sometime in the spring. Thats when we should lose alpine and pick up kickers complete line.
