i juss got my new head unit today. Panasonic (CQ-C8100U). sounds good but its got the aux input that i needed for my ps2(when i get it) so im excited. now i need some new 6 1/2s, a mini ps2 and the rest of my interior and im done spending mony for now lol. what 6 1/2s do you guys recomend? i was lookin at the alpine type s. any thoughts?

it cost me $250. ave audio wanted $315 to build the exact same thing. you work at sound advice rite?

i know rite. i was expecting more. i was so pissed when they showed it to me. i could built that damn thin for under 50 bucks

I would say 1 sheet of 3/4 maybe 2. - 40 bucks
carept, glue, screws - 20 bucks.

if you got away with 1 sheet of mdf its be about 40 bucks.. and you could make it how you wanted.. It would look 10x better witht he subs flushed and maybe build an amp rack into it too..

wanna help how do u flush in the speakers? where could i put an amp rack? draw me a picture on paint or sumthin. my amps pretty big so it was hard to fit it on top. lmk im always up for makin it look better

That's about what we'd charge too. Would have done an amp rack and a little fancier too for $300 at most. Yeah, I work at SoundAdvice. It's too bad, I would of hooked you up.

I think you coulda moved the sub up a litte toward the seat and you would have had enough room to put the amp below the subs..or other way around..subs down amp up top..

if anyone can load my pics of my teg set up you will not be disapointed i can email pics to whom ever can post them i have db crossfire amp rack and 2 12 db crossfire subs with yellow plexie top and carpet let me know if some one can post thanks
