someone plz help me..my cousin has a 96 mustang and he got a new deck and we took the stock one out but the wiring off the stock hu had 2 different harness's..so i sliced the cover open on the thicker one and found what looked like the speaker wires..then on the other one it had 6 wires..i have no clue what these wires were but there was a black (i think its the ground) yellow, and there is no hot wire..then the other wires are green and some other color..but i got frustrated with it and accidently cut the wires and then it cut off his dome light too..so i fucked up and dont kno how to fix it..i have never seen wiring like this before..and i changed alot of cd players before.. included fox body stangs..and my car..and everything was fairly simple..but this one got me..plz someone help..he needs it all put back in tommorow morning..

 

your screwed?? i dont know about that year, but i know mine has 2 harneses you need. they both just plug right in and go..the one with teh speaker wires is more then likely seperated from the power, ground ect.. www.installdr.com i think is the site people on here recoment, never been there but htey say it has everything you need to know about any car.

 

Sounds like he has the premium sound package. Buy the right harness.

 

harnesses are what? 7 bucks? 11 bucks? honestly

 

we have the harness for the new deck..i jus cant find the power and ground off the stock harness..
