Default hmmm.... Normally doesnt burn THAT bad.....

Well im trying to cut a circle in half inch MDF with my dremel and DAYM, A shit load more smoke than im used to! i cut maybe.... half an inch. I was getting nowhere with it.


WTF is going on!
I want to get my doorpods in progress!

dull bit

edit - assuming it was smoke form the wood, the bit is dull, and/or youre trying to mve too fast.. but it sounds like a dull bit.

hmm. dammit. I tried four diff ones I had that are for flat board cutting. To the hardware store I go!

Why are you using a dremel? Use a jigsaw.

+1. just try to make the cut smooth. i usually end up moving back and forth on the line when i use a jig saw.

stuck with the dremel, I was putting the board device on the end, but i sized it to 1/2 inch.

silly, instead i allowed the drill bit to go ALL the way thru so the board is closer to the actual dremel so its more sturdy, I then jacked the speed to max and was good to go! more pics of what im doing in the forum
