are u turning the volume nob up? jk... maybee you should just run it strait off your head unit (if its an aftermarket)

Scratch my last post, just realized you said you have a factory amp in your original post. Bypass it. Alot of times there's all kinds of screwy shit with factory amps...odd ohm loads, crossovers, etc. You're planning on using an MTX amp anyways right?

Yeah, I'd like to use the MTX amp.. This weekend (depending on the storm) I'll go ahead and uninstall the factory amp and replace with my crossover and MTX amp and listen to the factory speakers to see if I notice a difference.. if it's improved, I'll install the door speakers. It'll be quite teh install though. I have two harnesses I have to splice into.. Splicing makes me nervous.

bypass the factory amp and run every thing on an external amp or the HU
