MRV-T320 Over Pulling....Help
one of my two alpine amps is pulling too hard and over heating very quickly...it is an MRV-T320 running bridged at two ohms with one alpine type r 12" two ohm sub on it....any suggestions or anywhere i can take it to get it fixed?
well i thought of that but only one of the amps is pulling too hard....they are both set up the same way and its not the speacker cause i swithed the speakers with amps and it still did it and i tryed switching rca's (switching them) and it still did it

ur prolly crankin the gains like a muther f'er to make that sub sound decent on that amp. Turn them down....
This is why people say "Underpowering a sub can blow it" because people turn the gains up to make it sound decently loud and send it hella distortion causing a sub to blow. Get a bigger amp or turn the gains down....besides I hope you have warrenty on that Type R cuz they arent the most durable subs out haha (i know many people who can go for that)
