Default Amp

I have a question on an amplifire. Im 16 just bought my eclipse and bought 2 12 MTXV sub's. Im lookin for a decent amp. I found a Legacy LA590 amp for a resonable price and im just wondering if Legacy is a good brand and or if it is a good amp. Thank you!!

JBL 600.1 would work. I use one, great amp for the money. You can probably pick one up for around $150-$200. There's lots-o-amps out there that would work well for you. I personally would stick with a mono class D amp (sub amp) being they have a low voltage consumption and are usually stable down to atleast 2ohms, giving you more wiring flexibilty.

If the max on the sub's are 800watts what is better? to get an amp less then 800watts or one that is 800watts?

another amp thats good is the hifonics bx1000. Its around 230$ and its rated at 1000 RMS.

I would rather buy an amp that puts out a lil more power than what ur looking for than something under because you can always turn the amp down

who cares what the max is? whats the rms on them.. overpower that by a little bit and you will be sounding good.....as long as you have a good box built out of mdf lol
