I still dont see how adding a bunch of shit to a ported box that is made for your sub is going to be beter for it. All i can see it doing is fucking up the tuneing of the box. IDK maybe it doesnt displace that much air....

if you build a ported box correctly, basic math and common sense would lead me to believe fiberfill would just fuck up the sound... i mean if your box is shitty and not built properly for the sub you're using, then i suppose fiberfill could be an improvement, but it seems to me you'd get better results out of just building a box and not fucking up

 

If you're that worried about it, just try it without it and then try it with it. Let your ears do the deciding. I, personally, wouldn't bother. Like the above posts, if you built the box and port to specs, you have nothing to worry about. I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't be able to tell a difference anyways.
