Default 6x9 boxes

alright so i ran into another problem. seems normal for me now. well i built my box and noticed that my 6x9s arent gonna fit in the holes there supposed to know cause they hit the box. so as a last and really only resort im going to build/ or buy some boxes for em. i just ordered my speakers today from ebay. there pioneer ts-a6970r 3 ways. i just dont want them to be really big and ugly. anyone know a place that sells em or makes em? also how much do they usually cost? anyone got any?

We sell em at CC for 29.99 a pair. I think its gonna be pretty hard to find something you like though, because all 6x9 boxes are "really big and ugly" IMO. Id say if you are set on having them, make them yourself. Good luck

I'd make a set yourself, this way you can fabricate them to your preference (ie, not "big and ugly"). There's really nothing to them. Or, if you really don't have people in the back seat much, I would personally just bypass rear speakers all together. Put the money into a better component set/amp setup for the front. Sounds like you're going to have a pretty powerful sub setup which will probably drown out your rears anyways.

yeh ill make em myself, use liek the smallest size board possible in thickness and use the same type of fabric of where the 6x9s usually go to hopefully make it look like part of the car. thanks guys.
