Gas tank ground wire? Not sure what you're talking about, but trying isn't going to hurt anything. See if it loops, if not, you're good to go.

there was like a ground wire comming out of the top of the gas tank... i guess to get rid of any static electricity? but i just didnt hook there just to be on teh safe side.. that car was a bitch to install tho. its one with all that dvd navigation crap in it so u cant pull teh head unit out or an ythign like i normally, i hada go to teh fuse box for the rem wire cuz the cigerette liters required me to take off teh whole center concole thing...power wire was a bitch to get threw the fire wall... owell it all sounded good in the end.. it was a w3 with a profile amp... it actually slammed pretty good, i was impressed..

Dude, If your lookin for ground, anywhere on the chassis will work. Hell, when I wire a car I always go to chassis but NEVER the gas tank, i'm to much of a pussy to risk that.

i know how to ground it... i just try to find an existing bolt so i dont have to drill a whole in the persons car.. just looks cleaner to me.. but in her car all there was is the gas tank ground and i wasnt sure if it was safe to ground the same thing as the gas tank.. but i just drilled a whole and screwed it down.. what kinda screwes or w.e do u guys use.. in my car my wires were moved alot and after a while they would come loose..do yall use any special screw or anything

Use one of those star shaped or lick washers to help bite into the surface, won't come loose.

+1 on 04 accords being a bitch, i did 2 xplod 12s in one. That dash is hell, I never did figure it out, but I managed to get the center trim around the shifter out so i could unplug the wire for the cig lighter and do the remote.
