just out of curiosity, how do companies test subs.... without breaking them in

I said what makes you think the company doesn't break them in prior to testing, not that they don't need to. Every sub requires some sort of break-in period...

But if the company breaks them in why do we have to is what im saying.. if they test every sub.. why do we break them in? What reasons are there for breaking in a sub? Ive always thought this was just an old wives tale like tight bass

And I know ED personally test every sub before sent out, maybe they just play it for a second very low to see that it works and not crank it
