Which JL setup to go with
right now i have my heart set on these 3 12w3 in a powerwedge box.
my other option is to get this 10w7 which i can get at a good price. I'm looking at bout 250 for the 10w7, and hopefullyi can win the bid for the 3 12w3's at like 400...........
Whatever i get will be powerd off a 1200watt rms audiobahn (hey i got it dirt cheap)............
let me know what you think...... 3 12w3s or 1 10w7..........My goal is SQ with plenty of SPL to spare. i'm not too keen on single sub setups but i might make an exception on the w7. But i think the 3 12's will get louder (duh).
BTW the money i'm useing to get this is from when i sell my 3 infinity kappa perfects (still under warranty in a custom box). checkem out in the auto. for sale. only selling them because i have more trunk space now (HAD a mustang) and i can fit 12's in now finally.

I installed a 10w7 for a friend of mine, so I can personally vouch for the sub. On only 250w and in a sealed box, the thing slammed about as hard as his previous setup...two 12" IDQ's at 300w rms a piece. I can only imagine how loud that little sub can get. I'd have to say they're one of the best out there...I'd go for it, especially for only $250.

i would go with the 1 10w7 i put one in a ported box and it sounded realy good and was loud too

btw this guy rob at work just put 4 12W7s in his navi, i sat in the backseat and thought my head was gonna explode/heart stop beating. theyre badass

well as of now i might get out bid for the 12w3's.....i dont think i wanna go with the w7 just because i like multisub setups......IMO better SQ and SPL.....+ looks fancier.....I also might go with the 3 12w0's what do yall think of a 3 12w0 setup ina power wedge?

i dont like the w0 for the money i would go buy kicke cvr 12's.

Im sorry for all the anti jl comments. It just drives me insane! Thats all I ever hear about is JL is bad ass jl this jl that Yeah they are good but they are just played out! and what makes it worse is the people who go aroud saying they are the best ever and no one compares, wtf! Oh well, there are subs now that are better than jl for the money so you could really try looking into other companies. But hey if you really want jl, im not stopping you.
