Ok basically i would like to find a good place to reinstall my alarm and head unit. The shop who did it in Cali did a fucked up "free" install job and spliced it into my old alarm. ignition problems are pissing me off because of it, and my head unit was also "spliced" into my old harness. A good shop around clearwater area that i could go watch or help would be great, or i could do a few of the other things i need to do. Thanks a lot

i dont think too many people on here fuck with alarms, i know i dont, at least not yet, cuz theyre waay to complicated. i might be able to get someone from work (circuit city) who will do it if u cant find anyone

also, what kind of head unit and what kind of alarm are they?

good shops around clearwater...stereorama on gulf to bay, audio empire on 118th ave, and AVE audio on us 19 just north of countryside mall. everyone has their preferences, i like AVE personally. never been to audio empire but i hear theyre pretty good.

 

awesome, the head unit is in, and works fine, im just sick of seeing 2 harnesses and a stock harness.. 3 harnesses.. its a pioneer deh-6700 or 6900 or something. got it a few eyars ago. i ran new speaker wire because of the confusion, but my main concern is the alarm. stereorama on gulf to bay is to expensive im guessing.. but ill check AVE out or ill PM you for more info the alarm is a clifford Matrix

 

what kind of alarm is it? I might be abel to help you with that

Anyway, which matrix is it? Is it basic security or does it have remote start or both or what? Im goin to work in about an hour, i'll post back later tonight if i find out if anyone will do it.

Anyway, enough post whoring. A 91 prelude shouldn't be hard. Theres nothing complicated on that car, unlike the Sienna which my installers will be doing this Saturday, where you have to double diode the child safety door locks and all that shit, i dunno like I said I dont fuck with alarms myself.
