if you want to replace them you can use the wires that are hooked up to the fac. tweeters, they jump off the door speakers, or you might need to go to the fac. amp witch in your car i think it's under the pass seat i dont know what color wires are just match them to the wires that are on the back off the fact. tweets, or if u have an after market radio you can run new wires from the radio to the tweeters thats prety easy,

Actually, they're not even technically "tweeters". They're small speakers (3.5" I think). If you've got them up there, that means you've got the factory Infinity system, in which case you're going to want to bypass the factory amp if you want an aftermarket HU. I got a 6.5" component system (tweeter, mid, xover) and just removed the small dash speaker from the metal grill, and rigged up the compnent system's tweeter in it's place (ran new wiring from the dash location to the xover). The mids replaced the door speakers. Everything in factory locations, and out of prying eyes, without compromising too much sound quality.

well in a way you are right but that speaker only plays a hi frequency so in all reality it is a tweeter. because the tha size doesnt change it being a tweeter or a speaker. they make 3 in tweeters. and as for it being hard the last one i did at work was easy if it is the infity system i would bypass the amp. and i dont think you need to pull the dash the tweeter and grill should pop out of the dash just use a small flat head screwdriver

All you need is a long flathead screwdriver to pop the grill/speaker out, extremely easy. You could use the factory wiring if you figure out which wires lead to it on the other end, but I found it easier to just drop in some new wire. Just feed it down through the opening and out the underside of the dash...then onto the HU area.
