My Alpine is taking a crap on me.. consistantly skipping, doesn't always play CD's now (Gives ERROR upon loading).. and I'm just sick of dealing with it.

I need a new one.. decent power, remote, MP3... beyond that, whatever else is extra. Looking in the ~300 range. Any recommendations? I don't really care about brand, but I haven't had much luck with Sony..

I would try the pioneer deh-p7600 its in yr pice range has remote mp3 good power out, and alot of other cool stuff. i prety sure we sell it for like $279 at my shop if you want call 727-530-5221 an dask for lil mike, ill be there tue through sat.

Is that what you have? I'm not a big pioneer fan, pretty set on Alpine, but that deck looks pretty good. Just nervous about the display in the sunlight? Won't it be hard to read?

Damn this thing is awsome. The visual effects are awsome. SO many different movies, still pictures, regular animations. The colors are awsome. Its got 6.5v pre outs. The EQ on this thing is insane. I was playing with this at CC and u can fine tune it so much its crazy. This thing is just plain sexy. As in the sunlight, i wouldnt think so . Its full color. My blue display is kind of hard to read but this doesnt look bad at all. Go to ur local CC and play with it. Its going to be my next hu

 

i have the 6600 in my car and that is a bad ass radio but the 7600 has the mp3 and some diff outputs on it. as for the display it has a brightness level that u can change and i beliv it has a dimmer for at night. but they last even in the sun light. i have had pioneer radios in all my cars ant the first one i had is still working in the car and thats 4 years now. also i finley got to play with the 8600 that is bad ass it has full color display and the only doun side is that it is a motorized face, they some times break with alot of use but that is like 500$ unit

 

I'll have to check it out this weekend. Pretty excited about that one.
