Default Quick question

I'm rewiring my sub and amp this weekend but was just wondering what gauge and what kind of wire is the best to use? I'm looking for the best possible sound on a moderate budget. Thanks guys. I've got 1 10inch sub running to a 450W Pioneer Amp. Let me know. Thanks guys.

I'd run 4ga power and ground to the amp. It's a little overkill but if you upgrade you won't have to rewire again. For speaker wire 10 gauge will be fine. The kind of wire doesn't really matter until you start talking RCAs.

-2 guage, all the way!

honestly, 8 gueage is fine for that amount of power, but if you plan to run more stuff, just go ahead with the 4 guage........

I'm gonna go with 8 guage wiring for the amp also. No need for overkill, assuming 450w is PEAK output. 14 or 16 gauge from the amp to the sub would work great as well.

450 watt is the peak output...pussy I know...but hey, when you've got a budget you gotta get what you can take. Thanks for the info guys. I'll be doing the wiring soon.
