Well lately I have been saving money up for a new system, Working and selling audio stuff on ebay. I have a fair amount of money saved up and first I am buying a hifonics 1500 mono amp. The thing I am confused on is what subs i should get. I want a much louder system but I want to keep it more on the SQ side cuz i cant STAND dirty bass. Rite now I trying to decide on either the Alpine Type R's or the Pheonix Gold Titanium subs. The PG subs are a lil bit cheaper but look like a hell of a sub. I was also trying to decide to either get 12's or 15's and also go ported or sealed. Also if u guys have any other suggestions please tell me, i have about 250$ Max to spend on 2 subs

I agree with the one sub idea. Neither of those are "great" subs IMO. One good one would destroy multiple "decents".
