Default what did you do to stop rattaling?

I was a cheap way to stop my rattaling. First off my rear deck rattles like a mofo, also my trunk rattals like a mofo. If i put the slightest downward pressure on my trunk lid a lot of the rattaling goes away.....I just want to stop all the damn rattlling and i want it to be as cheap as possible!

go to home depot and buy a roll of "Seal and Peel" 15$ Apply like 2-3 layers of what all rattles. Plan out a whole day to do this and have fun!

You're probably not going to stop your trunk lid from rattling (if you mean the lid itself is vibrating). Been there, tried that. Your best bet is to try and find an aiming method with minimal trunk rattle or just learn to live with it.

Should be in the roofing section. Ask someone who works there if u cant find it. If they dont have it u could try calling up Lowes to see if they got it. I saw it up at the home depot on dale mabry. U could also try this stuff called expanding foam. Its like a foam that u spray and it expends and its also supposed to help dampen sound. Id have to do more research and ask some people whos done this b4 that i know and get back to u

That foam stuff will help, but it gets pretty hard. At least the stuff I've used. It might be good for hard to get places, but I'm not sure what it can do for a trunk really.
