anyone have any recommendations on sound deadening crap? i'm going to deadify the everliving fuck out of my truck (as i'm going to need all the help i can get to contain 1100 watts of total devastation) and want some input on what to use.

 

I've used B-Quiet a couple times. Cheaper than Dynamat...but don't expect a HUGE difference from sound dampening. IMO, it's not worth it if it's going to stress your financial status.

I used raammat and it worked very well for me.

BTW when did you get a truck?

 

Alot depends on the vehicle, the couple I've installed it in it doesn't make a huge difference, especially considering cost and added weight. If you've got alot of road noise, I can see it helping...but as far as rattling and vibration, it's near impossible to get rid of everything.

 

not sure yet... i've only got the speakers so far... but final tally is probably going to be... painful.

 

few days ago... snapped the timing belt on my civic... my mom went nuts and yelled a lot about reliable transportation... and then bought me a truck. i'm still confused about the whole thing.
