Double layered front baffle question

Default Double layered front baffle question

Well i was outside finishing my box and then i came to the front baffle. It is gonna be 2 .75 inch pieces together. How should i secure the 2 pieces together. With just screws or should i put in some liquid nails in between also????

quick responce would be great

Definately use liguid nails or wood glue it's what gives a box it's strength.

is it a baffle and a trim peice? justy use wood glue, screws will have to be countersunk etc
