Default To cap or not to cap

To cap or not to cap? I already got an upgraded battery, stock alt. Running 1 600 watt xtant and 200 watt lightning audio. Should I slap on a 1 farad cap ? How much would it help/hurt

I've yet to hear a definite answer on the effectiveness of caps. IMO, it's not going to hurt. For $20, why not.
